Our last night in Penang, we were very fortunate to visit this little gem for a ten course omakase dinner. 1st impression was where it was located, hidden away in Georgetown, reminded me of reaching Hakkasan Hanway Place for the first time.We really like the food, using local ingredients, especially the seafood are all line-caught. Fresh, sweet with very light seasoning. The bar was very well stocked, unfortunately as we have a long haul flight to catch the next day we were more cautious in our drinks consumptions.There were 5 of us and everyone has their favourites, my top three will be Venus clams with pork and fermented red capsicum, mud crab and 2 types of breams fish. For 10 course meal using locally caught produce, the price is very reasonable, as this is a small restaurant, you pretty much have the whole place to yourself, great for small party with your food and drinking buddies!

Interesting hidden restaurant serving seafood-centric small n sharing plates omakase style that don't break the bank. Every dish was nicely done with distinct taste profile of main ingredient coming through. With cool ambiance, music n friendly service.

We love the local food here in Penang but decided to give this place a try and had zero regrets. Service was impeccable! Every dish was so innovative it was a whole experience unpacking each course, and so yummy too. Special mention to the bartender whose secret cocktails really brought together the whole experience. We also appreciated the little something they prepared for my partner for his birthday! Worth every cent, thank you for the wonderful night :)

Macalister Mansion, beautifully appointed dining room, absolutely stunning menu! Progressive, exceptionally creative and executed 11 course menu! Delicious food and good wine but this is expected as the price is expensive too. The service need to improve as table and food already reserve earier but when we are there they told us what we choose has been sold out (main course, desert...) this make reservation with no meaning. My bf get shock of this because he dint expect this is the result he planned for long time for my birthday dinner. As the charge is high so customer should be get better customer service. Another thing is the restaurant is small, do not have much privacy and sitting at walk way. If you exptected a romantic dinner, hmmm, i think here is not so suitable.

A MUST Visit! Au Jardin, is simply an unforgettable experience and journey. Polished and refined in every aspect! The theatre of having a semi open kitchen was fantastic and allowed a peek into the art that is made here. Chef Kim Hock at the helm bringing you an amazing journey of Asian and European ingredients in perfect harmony and execution with undeniable classic French technique, mastered… My first visit too Penang and my desire to further dine here will see me return from Australia, again and again. Chef Kim Hock is a wonderful spirited person who took the time to talk to us about the menu and many other aspects of the restaurant and was very inspiring. Also a special thank you to Linda who was a fantastic host! Au Jardin collectively is a tight knit team of passionate people doing what they love and do it with impeccable style! I sincerely look forward to my return! Thank you team! 😊

What an incredible restaurant! There is no menu. The chef changes the tasting menu often and everything is based on traditional Malaysian cuisine. The staff is beyond perfect. Friendly, knowledgeable and with an outstanding attention to detail. As an extra bonus, white wine is served cold, as it should be, which isn't as obvious in Malaysia.

Finally a fine dining restaurant in Malasya that focuses on local produces. Great technique, bold flavors and a result that makes you roll your eyes in surprise and, most importantly, think. Great wine options as well, pairing definitely recommended. A must try while in Penang!

A delighted change after we tried abundant of hawkers food. The food is impressive with good service. Note that the guards at the front gate do a good job at stopping any unwanted visitor, don't let them change your mind to dine at this beautiful restaurant with talented chef. We joined the guided tour at the Blue Mansion a day before, the tour was very limited and we are glad that we chose to dine here the following day, to immerse ourselves in the vibe and charm of this mansion, and even had a chance to stroll at the attractive balcony attached to the restaurant. Hope they will refresh the menu from time to time, and am looking forward to try your new menu the next time we visit Penang.

Delicious food in a beautiful restaurant set in a heritage home. Indigo offers so much more than a scrumptious meal. Service staff were accommodating too, 5 of us shared 3 set meals.

Located in an elegant mansion along Penang's Millionaire Row, this non halal restaurant offers fine Chinese cuisine dining . Ample parking lots available within the business premises albeit with a nominal RM3 fee charged for each vehicle. Nice, clean and cozy environment and private rooms are available subject to availability. The dishes we ordered did not disappoint and staff service is impeccable. Prior booking is advisable especially on weekends.

We chanced upon this place on our first night in Penang after cocktails. Pop in without a reservation. Friendly and professional team who gave good recommendations. We were served by Reuben who is well-versed with his menu and attentive to patrons preferences. He offered us a card with all the interesting food and bar hunt. Produce are locally sourced which made this restaurant quite unique in the region. The dishes were excellent and we love the natural wine recommended. Highly recommended during your visit to Penang.
